AMEN ANDY ROONEY !

Good for him!!! Surprised CBS let him get away with this even though he's right.

Andy Rooney said on "60 Minutes" a few weeks back:
I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the UnitedCaucasianCollege Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

Immigration>>>Pretty strict laws, huh? The twist is in the last 3 sentences!! I guess we're all glad we don't live there! Subject: The "Limbaugh Laws" for immigration. From Rush Limbaugh's radio show on April 6, 2006. I want to call this proposal the "Limbaugh Laws. If you immigrate to the United States of America, you must speak the native language. You have to be a professional or an investor. We are not going to take unskilled workers. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, no government business will be conducted in your native language. Foreigners will not have the right to vote nor will they ever be allowed to hold political office. According to the Limbaugh Laws, if you're in our country, you cannot be a burden to taxpayers. You are not entitled, ever, to welfare, to food stamps, or other government goodies. You can come if you invest here, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. If you don't have that amount of money you have to stay home. If you do come and you want to buy land you will not be allowed to buy waterfront property in the United States. That will be reserved for citizens naturally born in this country. As a foreigner, you must relinquish individual rights to property. You don't have the right to protest when you come here. You're allowed no demonstrations, you cannot wave a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies or you get sent home. You're a foreigner. You shut your mouth or you get out, and if you come here illegally, you go straight to jail and we're going to hunt you down 'til we find you. These are the Limbaugh Laws. I can imagine many of you think that the Limbaugh Laws are pretty harsh. Well, let me tell you this, every one of the laws I just mentioned are ACTUAL LAWS IN MEXICO, today. I just read you Mexican immigration law. That's how the Mexican government handles immigrants to their country.

Illegals taking jobs Americans dont want.

Yes, it is probably true that illegal immigrants are taking jobs that Americans don’t want. I really have yet to find anyone who would pick apples everyday for the rest of his or her life. I also have yet to hear why. Well the main reason that makes sense to me is more Americans are going to college.

Getting a college degree is a career necessity in today’s society. I do understand that people have made it in this world without one, but most people would agree that a college degree is the key is the American dream.

Today you don’t even question whether you are going to college. It is the sign of the times. Before the 1950’s, factory jobs that were available for people to make a good income without a high school diploma are diminishing and education requirements for jobs in general are increasing.

Thank You, Sonny Perdue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Governor Sonny Perdue today signed into law the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (SB529). The bill was sponsored by State Senator Chip Rogers in the Senate and carried in the House by Representative John Lunsford.

SB529 requires citizenship verification for individuals using Georgia’s public services to ensure they are legally eligible to receive those services. It also requires citizenship verification of state employees and employers with state contracts and subcontracts. The bill requires that businesses compensating undocumented employees more than $600 a year may not claim wages as an allowable business expense, and requires a six percent state withholding tax for all nonresident aliens. The bill gives law enforcement agencies the tools they need to work more closely with federal officials to enforce immigration laws in Georgia. Georgia’s new immigration law will help ensure Georgia’s public safety by giving law enforcement the authority to crack down on human trafficking and check the legal status of anyone charged with a felony or DUI.
All provisions are effective July 1, 2007.

Georgia has become the first state to aggressively address a comprehensive solution to the problem of illegal immigration.

Sonny Perdue is tackling issues no one else has the courage to do. He is a leading authority on numerous issues including agriculture, transportation, education, and economic development.

He is the only governor to sign the Landowner’s Bill of Rights and Private Property Protection Act. This protects private landowners in Georgia against the abuse of eminent domain.

He also has passed the strongest sexual predator law in the nation. To protect children from the worst criminals that exists in society. This law gives a minimum sentence of 25 years to life.

I was a resident of Georgia for 3 years; I am now stuck here in California with the worst governor ever. Perdue is a shining example of the kind of governor we need for California. I can only hope that we can have a governor who is a courageous as Perdue.

Dear President Bush: I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following: 1. Free medical care for my entire family. 2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not. 3. All government forms need to be printed in English. 4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers. 5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history. 6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down. 7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch. 8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services. 9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws. 10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English. 11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals. 12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws. 13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy. I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P. Thank you so much for your kind help. Your Word

I would like to get you opinion on the immigration bill. I personally would like the stricter bill passed by the House of Representatives. Have any of you read the provisions? I personally agree with the stricter bill. These provisions are my favorite.

#1. Requires up to 700 miles (1100 km) of fence along the US-Mexican border at points with the highest number of immigrant deaths.

#2. Requires the federal government to take custody of illegal aliens detained by local authorities. This would end the practice of "catch and release", where federal officials sometimes instruct local law enforcement to release detained illegal aliens because resources to prosecute them are not available.

#3. Prohibits grants to federal, state, or local government agencies that enact or maintain a sanctuary policy

#4. Incorporates satellite communications between immigration enforcement officials

#5. All illegals before deported must pay a fine of $15,000 to the state in which they were apprehended.

#6.All children born to illegal immigrants in the United States will become wards of the state. Don't worry about this one, yea you may think that this idea will cost the U.S. a lot, but it won't cost anything. Illegals will stop crossing the border to have their kids here. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

#7. Sets the minimum sentence for fraudulent documents at 10 years, fines, or both, with tougher sentencing in cases of aiding drug trafficking and terrorism.

#8. Requires criminal record, terrorist watch list clearance, and fraudulent document checks for any alien before being granted legal immigration status.

#9. Housing of illegals will be considered a felony and subject to no less than three years in prison.

#10. Allows deportation of any illegal alien convicted of driving under the influence .

#11. Increases penalties for aggravated felonies and various frauds, including marriage fraud and document fraud.

#12. Adds human trafficking and human smuggling to the money-laundering statute.

Now I am absolutely suprised that they didn't include learning English on the list. I am completely pissed off that there are illegals here that do not learn it even though they can learn it for free, but yet we have to pay to learn spanish. I refuse to learn it. I am an American and I speak English and that is it. Have any of you been denied jobs because you don't speak Spanish ? I have, now do you think that is right?

False statements given by the illegal immigrants

False Statement #1: America is made up of immigrants.
Truth: Yes this is true, but when our ancestors came here there was no government set up to say they couldn't or could come here. The illegal immigrants are coming illegally which is not ok.

False Statement #2: California belongs to Mexico.
Truth: While this is laughable, it also displays borderline stupidity and insanity on the mexicans part. We all know about the war that occured for the U.S. to obtain California but unfortuantly mexicans believe the war was so unjust and therefore California should be given back to them. This is what happened, in 1845 President Polk Sent John Slidell to mexico to offer compensation for New Mexico and California . Mexico refused the money and Polk prepared for war. He oredered U.S. forces under General Zachary Taylor into the disputed region. Although Mexican forces outnumbered U.S. forces and enjoyed the advantage of fighting on familiar terrain, the United States utilized more sophisticated artillery and superior military skills to win the war. With the U.S. defeat of the Mexican army in Buena Vista, Palto Alto, Resaca de la Palma, Monterey, Santa Fe and California. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ended the war. Under the terms of the treaty, the border between the United states and Mexica was fixed at the Rio Grande; Mexico also relinquished all or part of modern California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. This doesn't sound unjust to me but you can make you own decision.

False Idea #3: The California Constitution is published in English and Spanish so therefore Spanish is a recognized language.

Truth: Yes, in 1849 the California Constitution was published in English and Spanish. However, in 1986, the California Constitution has specified that English is the common and official language of the state.

False Idea #4: We are not criminals.

Truth: If you are an illegal immigrant then yes you are. Illegal immigrants have committed a misdemeanor.

False idea #5: We are all Americans.

Truth: Mexicans may be North American, but not a U.S. American.

False Idea#6: Immigrant rights are human rights.

Truth: Illegal Immigrants have no rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Illegal Immigration Bill

My name is Patricia Gray and I am starting this bolg as an outlet to vent my frustrations over the riots going on to protest the Immigration Bill H.R. 4437.
Yes, I am aware that everyone has the right to free speech and to assemble. That is the great part about being an American- but hold it right there, wait a second, I did say American right? well, most of the people holding these riots are not Americans. They are here illegally and therefore have no rights under the U.S. Constitution.
With this blog I plan on informing all you wonderfull people about this bill. Please see the website I posted to see the provisions of this bill passed by the House of Representatives.
